Experiences
Experiences are cross-disciplinary immersive events, performances and happenings, often interactive and created with amateurs, actors, artists and industry professionals.
We’ve put on a puppet show questioning power relationships in the corporate fashion world, intimate storytelling salons with fashion professionals drawing attention to how clothing can shape our memories, a drag king narrating his dress rituals and the many ways one can be a man or become one, a chorus of complaints with lyrics composed from interviews with fashion insiders, a guard at a major art institution wearing an immaculate suit made of body paint, and a DIY workshop making Off-White socks in collaboration with the late Virgil Abloh to question the value of authenticity and originality.
Commissioned by MoMA PS1, Sharjah Biennial, Palais de Tokyo, Berliner Volksbühne and Lafayette Anticipations among others, each experience offers an inspiring, thought-provoking and off-kilter way to engage with dress and material culture.
